I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory (since July 2025). I received my PhD from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) under the supervision of Prof. Junxian Wang in June 2025, where I also completed my undergraduate degree in Astronomy. During September 2023 to May 2025, I was a visiting student at the IPMU under Prof. John D. Silverman.
I am interested in understanding the physics of active galactic nuclei (AGNs) and how supermassive black holes (SMBHs) co-evolve with their host galaxies across cosmic time. I have extensive experience with UV/optical spectroscopic survey data analysis and am developing multi-wavelength expertise to address these questions. My current research focuses on AGN spectral fitting and the search for intermediate-mass black holes (IMBHs). I enjoy coding and excel at data-driven research—feel free to check out my projects for more details on my work.
Beyond research, I enjoy hiking and outdoor adventures. I hold a junior instructor certificate in mountain sports and a wilderness first aid certification from WMAI. I have organized and participated in multiple mountain expeditions across China and served as chair of the Association of Scientific Expeditions at USTC.
